1. How to apply for a Vietnamese Language and Culture course?
The University provides many kinds of Vietnamese Language and Culture course (VLCC) courses for international students. It also provides Vietnamese Language and Culture courses for international students who want to enroll at undergraduate or graduate programs at USSH. The Faculty of Vietnamese Language and Culture administer Vietnamese language test for international students and the score is accepted by the University for applications to undergraduate and graduate programs. In order to register for a VLCC course, please:
1. Fill out the Form 1B
2. Enclose all required documents which are mentioned at the bottom of Form 1B with your application.
3. Tuition:
- One-student class: 6 USD/credit hour
- Two-student class: 4.5 USD/ one student/credit hour
- Three or four-student class: 3 USD/ one student/credit hour
- Five or more than 5 student-class: 2.5 USD/one student/credit hour

The International Cooperation Office of the University will email to inform you 3 (three) weeks after it receives your application (Please provide your email address) and send a letter to you if your application is accepted.
2. How to apply to do research(es) or to participate class/course, internship at USSH?
1. Fill out the form 1B
2. Enclose with your application the followings:
- A research proposal (your research topic(s), name(s) of library you want to refer materials…).
- Letter of recommendation of an authorized person from your home university/institute.
3. The University will process your application if it has appropriate supervisor(s), class/course.
3. How to apply for undergraduate program?
1. Fill out the FORM 1A.
2. Enclose with your application the following documents:
- A notarized copy of your high school degree(s).
- A notarized copy of academic record in English or Vietnamese.
- Vietnamese Proficiency Test Results/Vietnamese Proficiency Certificates (If you don’t have a certificate of Vietnamese Language Proficiency, you will have to take a test administered by the University).
- Certificate of Health Situation
- Financial guaranty which indicates that you will have sufficient financial source to study
- 4 Photos (passport size)
3. Tuition: USD 1200/ year X 4 years = USD 4800
4. How to apply for graduate program (Master Level)?
1. Fill out the FORM 2A.
2. Enclose with your application the following documents:
- A notarized copy of your Bachelor Degree(s)
- A notarized copy of academic record in English or Vietnamese
- Vietnamese Proficiency Test Results/Vietnamese Proficiency Certificates . (If you don’t have a certificate of Vietnamese Language Proficiency, you will have to take a test administered by the University).
- A proposal of thesis written in English or Vietnamese.
- Two letters of Recommendation.
- Certificate of Health Situation
- Financial guaranty which indicates that you will have sufficient financial source to study
- 4 Photos (passport size)
3. Tuition: USD 1600/year X 2 years = USD 3200
5. How to apply for graduate program (Doctoral Level)?
1. Fill out the FORM 2A.
2. Enclose with your application the following documents:
- A notarized copy of your Master Degree(s), Bachelor of Art.
- A notarized copy of academic record in English or Vietnamese.
- A certificate of your current status (if you are working in the area related to your major)
- List of your research works/journals (if any)
- A summary of your Master thesis paper (between 1000 and 1500 words, in English or Vietnamese)
- Vietnamese Proficiency Test Results/Vietnamese Proficiency Certificate. (If you don’t have a certificate of Vietnamese Language Proficiency, you will have to take a test administered by the University).
- A proposal of doctoral thesis written in English or Vietnamese
- Two letters of Recommendation
- Certificate of Health Situation
- Financial guaranty which indicates that you will have sufficient financial source to study
- 4 Photos (passport size)
3. Tuition:
- USD 4560: For candidates who don’t hold a master degree(s) will have to register for 4 year Program.
- USD 2310: For candidates who hold a master degree(s) will have to register for 2 year Program.
